The questions on the CogAT and NNAT cover cognitive abilities that are not directly taught in school. These are abstract thinking abilities such as problem solving, classifying and categorizing, recognizing patterns and sequences, reasoning with shapes and figures, deductive and inductive reasoning, mathematical reasoning, and much more.
At BrightNup Academy, your child will have great opportunity to build their cognitive skill through teaching of problem solving, learning tricks, working through the class assignments and practice test. Your child will get to know how to think appropriately to solve a question and how to avoid common mistakes with our guidance and lots of practice, your child will be able to perform at his or her true ability for a fair and accurate evaluation during the actual test.
