Please note:
- 2022-23 session starts from September 6, 2022 and ends on June 17, 2023. Both IN-PERSON and ONLINE classes are offered for most levels.
- No class during winter break (2 weeks – Dec 18, 2022 – Jan 2, 2023) and Spring break (1 week – Apr 2 – Apr 9) – No makeup classes are offered.
- No class on Thanksgiving Day (Nov 24) and Memorial Day weekend (May 27) – Makeup classes will be offered.
Guidelines for enrolling into a class:
- Parents can enroll their students online at mybrightnup.com/enroll-online.
- PayPal or transfer through Zelle can be used as the payment method during enrollment. Note that payment using PayPal will have a 2.5% fee
- Payment Frequency – Monthly, Quarterly, Half, and Full.
Guidelines for IN-PERSON Classes:
- All teachers and staff members will be vaccinated.
- All individuals (students and parents) can optionally wear a mask for the entire duration of time indoors.
- Parents will be advised to wait outside the academy during drop-off and pickup unless it is required to come inside.
Guidelines for ONLINE Classes:
- ONLINE classes will be conducted through Zoom and Google Classroom. Zoom links and Google Classroom will be provided before the first class.
- Parents will need to collect the materials for classes once in a month for the entire month. The weekly materials will also be posted in the Google Classroom.
- Students are required to validate their answers with the key provided and then submit the work in Google Classroom for grading.
- Recording of the class will be available for a week for students to review and catchup.
- Students will be required to have their video ON during the entire class time.
Guidelines for homework completion (both IN-PERSON and ONLINE classes):
- Students will get a printed classwork/homework packet ever week. All homework must be completed before the next class.
- Answer key/solution of the entire weekly packets will be posted every week on Google Drive and the link will be shared with parents.
- Parents/students are highly encouraged to validate/tally their homework against the given answer key so that students are very aware of their mistakes/doubts that they will clarify with the teachers in the next class.
- Teachers will spend at least 15-20 minutes of the weekly class to go over students’ doubts on the previous week’s homework. Teacher will check homework every week.
